Wrestling legend Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka charged with murdering girlfriend 32 years ago

Wrestling legend Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka has been charged with murdering his girlfriend more than 32 years ago.
Nancy Argentino, then aged 23, died in mysterious circumstances at a motel in Pennsylvania on May 10, 1983.
Now, more than three decades later, Snuka has been arrested after a grand jury concluded he had caused the injuries which led to her death.
Snuka, now 72, is believed to have repeatedly assaulted Argentino in their hotel room at the George Washington Motor Lodge in Whitehall Township.
He is then accused of leaving her to lie on their bed "without obtaining the necessary medical attention", Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin told a press conference.

Martin added that Argentino had a multitude of face, scalp and body bruises and abrasions consistent with domestic abuse,Fox news reports..

Snuka, who is battling a terminal illness, was arrested at his home in New Jersey and charged with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter.
The WWF (now WWE) star, who was inducted into the wrestling Hall of Fame in 1996, has always maintained his innocence.

However prosecutors say he had a history of abuse towards Argentino, including one incident four months before she died where he was allegedly seen dragging her by her hair.
