(tania was in her house that day when johan knocked on her door,she went to open the door and was surprised to see johan)
TANIA: (surprised) johan? Please come inside
JOHAN: (not smiling) no,i only came here to see you,but i can't come inside,you know my dog's house is better than this place,and i don't want people to see me here.
TANIA: (felt a bit hurt) i'm sure,you did not come all the way from your house to insult me.
JOHAN: (angrily) hey watch your tongue,just listen to what i have to say,i heard you broke up with diego.
TANIA: diego was just a friend until he left.

JOHAN: (laughs wickedly) it is just that you are too blind to know who really loves you,you see diego never for once loved you,we only placed a bet on you that if he can get you to fall then i'll pay him one thousand bucks and if he can't,he'll pay me one thousand bucks,yes and he did pay.
TANIA: (shocked and tears rolled down her cheek) what?
JOHAN: (smiles) yes and he succeeded in doing that,he never wants you from the start of all things,i only wanted to know how weak you are when it comes to love.
TANIA: (still crying) i can't believe diego did this,die.....
JOHAN: (cuts in) yes he has done it already,but there is someone who is really in love with you,someone who never wants to see you cry.
TANIA: (still in tears) but,diego left town because i refuse to date him or why did he say he'll never come back to santa lucia?
JOHAN: (shocked) leave? What do you mean? What are you saying? You mean diego is out of santa lucia?
TANIA: (still in tears) yes,he left this morning,he left in tears and said he'll never come back,i ran after his car but he didn't wait and disappeared just like that.
JOHAN: (shocked) that can't be true (she ran off)
TANIA: she doesn't even know that diego is out of town (pauses) but diego,i thought you were really in love with me never knew you actually spoke to me because of one thousand naira bucks and you made a joke out of my life.(tears rolled down her cheek as she went inside)

(as johan left tania'a house,she drove recklessly to diego's house and met sam)
JOHAN: (angrily) sam that wasn't the plan,now you allowed diego to leave this town for manila.
SAM: johan,it isn't my fault,he just wouldn't stay after learning that tania and i are dating.
JOHAN: what rubbish are you saying,so you mean if tania agrees to date you now,i'll be at the losing end,hell no. You'll also not get tania if you can't find a way to bring diego back home,then forget about tania and i mean it,i'll do everything in my capability to make sure you did not get tania.

(in manila,diego was with his friend ignacio,ignacio came inside and met diego lost in deep thought,suddenly diego's phone rang but he ignored)
IGNACIO: diego,why are you rejecting that call? Why aren't you picking it up?
DIEGO: i don't feel like picking that call.
IGNACIO: but who is calling you?
DIEGO: sam (the phone rang again)
IGNACIO: (looked at the phone) this isn't sam,its johan
DIEGO: johan? (moved closer to the phone then picked it) hello johan
JOHAN: (on the other end) hi diego,you left without saying goodbye to a friend like me.
DIEGO: i'm sorry johan,its just that i had to go before anything stops me.
JOHAN: (on the other end) okay but when will i see you again?
DIEGO: johan,i'm too busy for now to decide when we'll meet again (he hangs the call up)
IGNACIO: diego,you can't allow what happened to you break you,i know you as a strong man,you have to stand for your love,you said she cried the day you were leaving and also ran after your car,don't you know that is a symbol of love.
DIEGO: but ignacio,she is courting sam,my brother
IGNACIO: well to my own view,you said johan also loves you,she might use that just to get in between and make sure you hate tania,do you know what she might have told tania too?
DIEGO: (pauses) can this be true? No,i remembered tania is always with sam,there was a day i heard her say,yes,i will and they hugged,i'm sure sam's question is ,will you court me?
IGNACIO: diego,stop thinking like you were there when the question was asked,if the question were to be,will you pull yourself together? Will you take care of diego for me? Will you attend the party too? Diego think of positive things and not negative things.fight for your love diego,fight for your love (they stared at each other)

(tania was on her way to the market,she was carrying a bag when diego's car suddenly stops in front of her,diego alighted from the car,tania was shocked)
TANIA: (surprised) diego?
DIEGO: (bows his head as he moves closer to tania and held her hand) tania
TANIA: diego,you are back?
DIEGO: yes tania,i came back because of you (he kneels down) tania please court me
TANIA: diego stand up please you are embarassing me,please stand up
DIEGO: not until you tell me yes that you are ready to court me
TANIA: (changed her mood) diego,is this still part of your 1000 bucks strategy.
