SAM: ...tania i have a confession to make to you
TANIA: what is it sam?
SAM: (thinks for a while) i think this is not the best time to discuss it,when you've fully recovered then i'll tell you.
TANIA: okay. Thanks sam,you've always been there for me and my family when needed
SAM: (smile to her as she smiles back)

(sam was on his way home in his car,when johan's car suddenly stops right in front of his car,johan alighted from her car and entered sam's car)
SAM: (surprised) johan?
JOHAN: (smile)surprised?
SAM: no
JOHAN: well,i have been following you since you left home for the hospital.
SAM: (angrily) are you stalking me?

JOHAN: oh,stalking? Yeah if you say so,i have
SAM: and why?
JOHAN: i'm following orders
SAM: orders? Whose orders?
JOHAN: diego's
SAM: diego? Why is he tailing me?
JOHAN: well i heard all what you said to tania and i know what it is you want to tell her,you love her don't you?
SAM: (with an unfriendly face) love her? What nonsense,no i don't
JOHAN: okay okay,anyway i only wanted to help you if only you'll open up and tell me the truth.
SAM: wh...wha...wh...what truth?
JOHAN: diego wants to find out if you are courting tania already and i can see that you are even yet to tell her your mind,it means diego still has 80 percent chance to ask her out since you are not courting her already,and since you are not ready to co-operate,i'll let diego know that he is free to court her (she opens the door to go but sam held her hand)
SAM: johan?
JOHAN: (sighs) huh,so you love her for real?
SAM: johan,how do you want to help me?
JOHAN: i'll just tell diego that you are courting her already which means he can't court her,
SAM: so johan whats the catch?
JOHAN: (smile) you are this intelligent,well the catch is,i'll get tania for you and you'll get diego for me.
SAM: (pauses) oh my GOD,johan is that it?
JOHAN: yes that is it.
SAM: but how will you get tania for me?
JOHAN: leave that for me,so do we have a deal?
SAM: yes (felt relieved) yes we do
JOHAN: lets see tomorrow to set up our first strategy of getting the ones we both love,how about that?
SAM: yes no problem .i'll call you.
JOHAN: good for you (she smile and alighted)

(three months after tania's release,johan went to diego's house and saw him about going out,she quickly stopped him)
DIEGO: (moved closer to johan) johanna?
JOHAN: (blushing) how romantic,hmm you called me that,wooo,thats lovely and romantic.
DIEGO: (laughing) naughty you,i'm about going out
JOHAN: where are you going?
DIEGO: i want to go and see tania
JOHAN: (hurt) tania? Why? What for?
DIEGO: you feel so concerned,well good news johan,i want to go and tell her exactly how i feel,i want to ask her out,i want to court her,what do you think johan?
JOHAN: (trying to fake a smile) yeah its a good news but... (pauses)
DIEGO: but what?
JOHAN: i'm sorry i didn't tell you before now
DIEGO: (scared) what johan?
JOHAN: sam made me promise i wouldn't tell anyone but diego i can't take it any longer,he has been courting tania before the incident happened,i caught them together once and sam made me promise not to tell anyone because tania said she doesn't want anyone to know about her secret lover
DIEGO: (staggering and stamarring) s..s...s...sa...s,no that can't be true (tears rolled down his cheek) i loved her first,she is the reason why i'm still here in santa lucia,oh no,that can't be true.
JOHAN: (held diego so tight) diego,you don't need to be worried,you still have me,i'll stay with you i promise,please don't hurt yourself,diego please look into my eyes,i don't like seeing you like this.
DIEGO: (started crying) johan,you......
JOHAN: let me lead you way inside,i don't want you to hurt yourself (he took diego inside)

(tania and susan where on their way to somewhere)
SUSAN: tania go to ma'am sarah's house,i'll go to ma'am zina house so as not to cause much trouble again
TANIA: yes mom (they walked a distance before they departed,tania entered diego's house and saw diego packing his things into his car,she went to meet him)
TANIA: (smiling) diego?
DIEGO: (no response)
TANIA: diego where are you going?
DIEGO: (he held her hands so fast) tania just leave me alone,i'm going back to manila,life here is bad,boring.
TANIA: (confused) even with me?
DIEGO: yes,you mad elife miserable,life is miserable if it contains a name called tania,you bore me
TANIA: diego,have i done anything wrong to you?
DIEGO: (he entered into his car and drove off)
TANIA: (shouting his name and running after diego's car till it went ahead of her,she was crying so badly as she walks back into the house feeling dejected)
TANIA: (to herself) diego,you promised never to leave me alone since miah left me,now diego is gone too (she looked back toward where diego's car went) diego,i was about telling you how much i love you too,just today and you left without saying goodbye,you took my heart away with you.. (continues crying)
