Jose Mourinho believes the Manchester United job will be his within six months. That is according to the Sun, who report the Special One has asked his usual backroom staff about the possibility of joining him at Old Trafford.
Improved performances against Chelsea and Swansea City appeared to
have bought Louis van Gaal more time. However, a lacklustre display
against Sheffield United, and a 3-3 draw with Newcastle United - which
made it one win in eight Premier League matches - has piled the pressure
back on the Dutchman.
The Red Devils are five points behind fourth place Tottenham Hotspur
and face a crucial derby with Liverpool on Sunday afternoon. Anything
less than a victory would leave Van Gaal in a very precarious position.
