Fernando Torres has offer that would make him world’s highest paid player - agent

Fernando Torres could become the world’s highest-paid footballer this summer, the striker’s agent has revealed.
Jose Antonio Martin ‘Peton’ has claimed, per The Sun, that Torres has eight clubs chasing his signature - including one, possibly located in China, who are prepared to offer the former Liverpool and Chelsea forward an astronomical contract in order to lure him away from Spain.
Peton has urged Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone to tell Torres whether or not he’s in his plans for next season, so that he can make a decision over his future.


“Fernando and [Diego] Simeone should sit down and talk about it,” he commented. “The fans of Madrid don’t want Torres to be told no continually.
“He has an offer that would make him the best-paid in the world. There are nuances. It all depends upon the will of the club.
