Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed what he told
Barcelona duo Lionel Messi and Neymar at the Ballon d'Or ceremony.
As reported by Goal.com, Ronaldo,
who was speaking to reporters at the Bernabeu after Real's thumping 5-1
win over Sporting Gijon, has jokingly stated that the pair owe him
after he acted as their translators.
Ronaldo, of course, slotted in between the aforementioned Barcelona
duo after securing second place at this year's award ceremony. Neymar
secured third spot while Argentine superstar Lionel Messi racked up his
fifth Ballon d'Or.
But Ronaldo, who has long had an intense rivalry with Messi, has
insisted that his relationship with the Barcelona ace has grown
recently.
The former Manchester United man stated: "We have become closer, we
have always enjoyed a good relationship but perhaps in the last few
years it has become a little closer.
