The Real Madrid star left Old Trafford in a record transfer in 2009, but is prepared to turn down the French club's riches for another shot at the Premier League
Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to turn down a lucrative offer from Paris Saint-Germain to fulfil his dream of returning to Manchester United, according to the Daily Mirror.
PSG are ready to break the bank for the Portuguese goal-scorer, and would offer wages worth up to £500,000 a week to entice him to the French capital.
The newspaper, however, insists that Ronaldo is determined to rejoin the club he left for Real Madrid in 2009, and the lack of competition in Ligue 1 is also a factor as the 30-year-old fears he would not be able to enhance his reputation in France.
Laurent Blanc's side has the edge on the financial side, but United director Edward Woodward enjoys a close relationship with agent Jorge Mendes and is keen to land Ronaldo, both for playing and commercial reasons.
