DIEGO: ...(he kneel down) please would you be my friend?
TANIA: (confused) please stand up diego,you are embarassing me already,stop it already.
DIEGO: no,not until you agree to be my friend,tania,i know i have hurt you real bad in the past by calling you different names,please forgive me and lets be friends.
TANIA: (thinks for a while) okay then,no problem friends already. (she smiled)
DIEGO: (he stood up and was shouting to draw people's attention) today is the happiest day in my life,tania has agreed to be my friend.
TANIA: (felt embarassed) diego,stop it already,you are embaassing me.
DIEGO: thank you tania,you gave me life in santa lucia.
TANIA: (smile) huh (silence came down for some minutes)
DIEGO: (broke the silence) aren't you going to bring me in?
TANIA: (sighs) make that next time.
DIEGO: (smile) i understand,so tania,when next are we going to see?
TANIA: i'll let you know,thanks i have to go now (she went inside)
(meanwhile johan saw all what happened from afar,she was in her car and her eyes went red with rage)
JOHAN: (with anger) that bitch (she hit the steering of her car) see you in hell (she drove off)
DIEGO: (watched tania till she went inside) yes....i did it this time again.....yes (he went into his car and drove off too)
(when tania got inside,susan questioned her)
SUSAN: tania?
TANIA: mom
SUSAN: why is diego here?
TANIA: (shrieving) mo...mom...he..
SUSAN: remember no lies tania
TANIA: i wasn't going to lie mom,he only said we should be friends
SUSAN: and what did you tell him?
TANIA: mom i accepted his friendship offer since he wouldn't stand up.
SUSAN: (breaths heavily) tania my daughter,rememb
TANIA: yes mom,i'm sorry mom,i only said yes to push him away
SUSAN: you did well my daughter but caution yourself,okay?
TANIA: okay mom (she continued her work)

(johan went to diego's house and met sam watching a movie)
JOHAN: (smile) hi sam
SAM: hey,johan how are you?
JOHAN: i'm fine,where is diego?
SAM: he is in his room,he'll be here soon,he only went there to receive a call.
JOHAN: (sat down on the coutch) have you by an chance seen tania?
SAM: (surprised) why did you ask?
JOHAN: (laughs) no no no,just asking,no string attatched.
SAM: well she is washing at the laundry room
JOHAN: (shocked) what? Really? She is here?
SAM: (confused) johan what is it? What is wrong with you? This isn't the first time you are seeing her here,then why that?
JOHAN: (trying to hide her fear) no no not really just feeling that she should be in my house by now because i have a lot of clothes to wash
SAM: when she is through here,she can move down to your house.
JOHAN: don't you think you'll need to employ another girl instead of tania
SAM: and why? (diego walks in)
JOHAN: (smiling to diego) hi
DIEGO: (smiling back) hello
JOHAN: i'm bored at home,so i guess we can go to the cinema
DIEGO: oh johan,i'm not feeling too well,i'm sick
JOHAN: (shocked) sick? Then we can go to the pharmacist
DIEGO: i have taken medications thanks
JOHAN: (thinking) then we can go to your room and discuss.
DIEGO: yeah sure,come with me (he held her hand and led the way)
SAM: (sighs) diego (tania came in)
TANIA: i'm done washing those clothes and i have to go now
SAM: yeah,you have to tania,so how much?
TANIA: ma'am sarah has paid me before she left
SAM: oh nice,(he stood up and moved closer to tania) tania?
TANIA: yes
SAM: i have known you always to be a good girl,i want to talk to you,can we sit down?
TANIA: oh yeah (they sat down) so what is it you wanted to tell me?
SAM: well its about you.
TANIA: (shocked) me? What have i done? Have i done anything to wrong your family?
SAM: no tania,that is not it. Tania why are you not in school?
TANIA: (close to tears) since i lost my father,my education ended there. There is no one to send me to school,miah is seriously sick and mom had to look after her,we are doing what we are doing so as to survive and i'm happy because my mom and miah are my happiness.
SAM: sad story, what if you were sponsored to school,will you take the offer or turn it down?
TANIA: i really love to learn,i'll take the offer (pauses) why are you asking me all this?
SAM: well the truth is... (pauses for a while,looked into tania's eyes) tania?
TANIA: i'm all ears,what is it?
SAM: i really want you to go to school in manila and i'll sponsor it.
TANIA: (stood up with fear) sam (tears rolled down her cheeks)
SAM: (stood up too and held her hands) yes,such a pretty girl like you must go to school and become successful in life,thats why i want to put you in the most expensive institution in manila,so what are you going to say?
TANIA: (looked into his eyes and she saw that he was telling the truth,and tears were rolling down her cheeks,she looked down and looked up again,then diego and johan came downstairs watching the scenerio) sam,yes i will (they hugged)
DIEGO: (filled with rage)....
