Barely eight weeks after Audu Maikori of Chocolate City Musicannounced his decision to step down as the music company’s CEO, rap act, M.I has been announced the new CEO.
The announcement also had ‘Oleku’ star, Iceprince emerging M.I’s deputy in the music company.

M.I and Iceprince are the two biggest recording music act with highest selling albums on Chocolate City Music.

M.I and Iceprince were two of the music company’s first signee since it was founded in 2005 by Audu Maikori, Yahaya Maikori and Paul Okeugo.

M.I and Iceprince both have imprints of the MAMA and BET on their CV with Iceprince winning both award and M.I winning only MAMA but got a BET nomination.

Iceprince sees M.I as his mentor and worships the ground on which Mr Incredible walks on.

M.I and Iceprince had bonded since 2004 when they met in Jos after M.I’s return to Nigeria from the United States of America, where he had studied in Michigan.
