Cristiano Ronaldo has scored over 50 Real Madrid goals for the SIXTH
consecutive season, following his brace in Real’s 2-0 win over Deportivo
La Coruna in the final game of the La Liga season on Saturday.
The Portuguese international has become the first player in the
history of world football to score over half a century of goals at club
level in six successive years.
Ronaldo’s second goal in the final day win over Deportivo La Coruna took him to a staggering 51 goals, for the campaign.
The total could yet increase further, with Real Madrid featuring in
the Champions League final against city rivals Atletico later this
month.
Ronaldo has so far scored 35 La Liga goals and a further 16 in Europe.

Despite the goals, the three-time Ballon d’Or winner has only won La
Liga once and the Copa del Rey twice since signing for Los Blancos from
Manchester United in 2009.
He does however have the chance to become European champion for the second time in the San Siro clash on May 28.
Ronaldo’s heroics were not enough to Real, who lost out on the chance to win La Liga on the final day of the season.
The win at Deportivo was in vain as Barcelona ran out victorious at
Granada, which confirmed their position as league champions yet again.
