According to UsWeekly, Lamar Odom is making some impressive improvements
this week after almost dying from a drug overdose at a Nevada brothel
in mid this month.
He has been moved out of the Intensive Care Unit. 'He is doing very well
and continues to be a fighter. He hasn't given up once, and this will
really help him in the future,' said a friend
'He is getting stronger every day. And has a great team of therapists and specialists working with him.
'He's 6' 11' and weighs a lot, so getting him to walk a little has been really hard.'
However, the former LA Lakers star is far from out of the woods yet; he
is still in 'definite' need of a new kidney, and remains on dialysis
after suffering organ failure over the weekend.
According to the source, doctors at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center are also
still 'trying to get his kidneys to function on their own."
