I'd love to play for Bayern Munich, says Ibrahimovic

The Paris Saint-Germain and Sweden striker admits that the Bundesliga has always held an appeal for him - especially the current champions due to their elite status
Paris Saint-Germain forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that he would relish the chance to play for Bayern Munich before he retires.

The outspoken Swede has been touted for a return to AC Milan this summer, with president Silvio Berlusconi admitting that he still wants to sign the striker despite the arrivals of Luiz Adriano and Carlos Bacca.

Ibrahimovic, however, hints that he might prefer to try another league before he retires, with Bayern an attractive proposition as an elite team.

"It's certainly a league that fascinates me. Maybe one day I could play there, I still have time," the 33-year-old told 11Freunde.

"If I went to Germany, I'd have to play for Bayern. They're one of the five best teams in the world."

Any prospective deal to take Ibrahimovic to the Allianz Arena would be complicated by Pep Guardiola's position as coach, however, given the turbulent relationship between the duo during their time at Barcelona.

The former Inter forward's current contract at Parc des Princes expires in the summer of 2016.
